About Kathy
The value of saving and planning was instilled in me by my father when I was a child. At age 16 he convinced me to take my very first income tax refund check and save it for my future. I had already earmarked the refund to buy clothes. Fortunately for me, I listened to him and invested the refund instead of buying clothes, because six years later I took the proceeds from that investment and used them toward the down payment of my very first house.
In 1982 I joined my father in his financial services business and resumed my education in the financial world.
